Bacteriostatic water (BAC water) is sterile water for injection preserved with 0.9% benzyl alcohol, which inhibits bacterial growth and extends the usable life of reconstituted solutions. It is the standard diluent used for reconstituting lyophilised research peptides. Each vial contains 10ml.
Add bacteriostatic water slowly to the lyophilised peptide vial using a syringe. Swirl gently — do not shake. Use our Reconstitution Calculator to determine the correct volume for your desired concentration.
